About Me

Hello everyone! Thanks for stopping-by at my blog. Well firstly, my name is (Fernando) Chow Yao Wen and I do admit that I'm a cunning trickster as that tells the reason on why I haven't got into deep trouble in school - I do various evil tricks when I'm in one and my teachers ALWAYS fall for them.

I am a massive football fan, and I've been supporting my favourite club, Liverpool, for an awful long time.

I was born on 30th May 1996 in Malaysia. Since my very first day of watching the English Premier League, I have fallen in love with Liverpool and I have also assured that I will be a "Liverpoolean" for the rest of my life.

In my outside life, I am currently educating at SMK Sultan Abu Bakar (SABS for short), a well-known school located in Kuantan, Pahang. Basically, I am a mad-class clown and I truly enjoy bringing laughter to everyone around me as I believe that smiling is a universal welcome :)

Liverpool vs Wigan Preview

Liverpool look to extend their winning run to 5 consecutive matches.

This week’s tie against Wigan will be there to prove if Liverpool really are on a good run or form, especially after that victory over Chelsea last week. The Dalglish effect is definitely working and Raul Meireles is the main reason for the revolution. He’s been in absolutely amazing form recently and will definitely be looking to increase his goal tally for Liverpool this season.

But one player who won’t be looking to add to the goals is Jonjo Shelvey, who is set to miss the next 3 months due to injury. A bright youngster, but his absence won’t be too sorely felt as they have adequate replacements. Well, so will Suarez make his first start for Liverpool? That will also be a huge question.

The Uruguayan still is yet to play a full game of football for Liverpool and will be hoping to have a start to get the full feel of the fast and physical English game. But at least worry for the lack of goals vanished when he opened his account for Liverpool against Stoke in midweek last week. Many factors work FOR Luis Suarez playing this weekend, one being his ineligibility to play in the Europa League, as he has already played in the Europa League for Ajax, leaving him unavailable for selection.

Player to watch: Martin Kelly

Raul Meireles has already established himself as a firm player to watch so it’s a surprise good performance by Martin Kelly here against Wigan. Already ousted Glen Johnson out to the left back position, it looks as if he will continue his recent good run of form.
