About Me

Hello everyone! Thanks for stopping-by at my blog. Well firstly, my name is (Fernando) Chow Yao Wen and I do admit that I'm a cunning trickster as that tells the reason on why I haven't got into deep trouble in school - I do various evil tricks when I'm in one and my teachers ALWAYS fall for them.

I am a massive football fan, and I've been supporting my favourite club, Liverpool, for an awful long time.

I was born on 30th May 1996 in Malaysia. Since my very first day of watching the English Premier League, I have fallen in love with Liverpool and I have also assured that I will be a "Liverpoolean" for the rest of my life.

In my outside life, I am currently educating at SMK Sultan Abu Bakar (SABS for short), a well-known school located in Kuantan, Pahang. Basically, I am a mad-class clown and I truly enjoy bringing laughter to everyone around me as I believe that smiling is a universal welcome :)

Say NO To Lynas!

Well Lynas is an Australian company that produces rare-earth. A plant is due to be built here in a peaceful town called Kuantan - and for you guys' information, it produces radioactive substances that is very harmful to our health.

Many protesting actions and activities have been carried out by the Kuantan residents. But in spite of that, the government have pretty much ignored the people. It has also happened that the UMNO (opposition side) members have turned aggressive towards the Anti-Lynas members while they were having their stop Lynas activities at the (soon-to-be destroyed by Lynas toxics) beautiful shore of Teluk Cempedak beach.

For the innocent lives of the Kuantan residents, I hope whoever that it reading this will be part of the Anti-Lynas group as the plant will definitely inflict destruction on such a peaceful town once built. Do join our Facebook group here and cast your lovely votes at this Stop Lynas Website !

Barcelona 3-1 Manchester United

Indeed it was a thrilling finale of the UEFA Champions League, but things were quite clear that Barcelona were the better team throughout the match - and Manchester United were just losers!

Goals from Pedro, Lionel Messi and David Villa were enough to see off The Red Devils as Barcelona once again clinched the trophy of the prestigious European tournament.

UCL Final Tonight

The UEFA Champions League final will kick-off tonight at 2am. Well Manchester United and Barcelona, champions of England and Spain respectively, are the two finalists in this highly anticipated finale - the so-called Match Of The Year.

So to be honest, I don't really give a damn about this match. Yes, I might be staying up to watch it but I don't often support the two teams, more like never supported them (especially Manchester United).

Check out the game preview here - http://twoliverpoolfans.wordpress.com/2011/05/28/barcelona-vs-manchester-united-the-game-of-the-year-preview/

Dooms Day Tomorrow?

20th May 2011 is the date for today, and for those who still don't know - according the the Christian's Bible, Dooms Day falls on the 21st of May 2011 (TOMORROW!)

To be honest, I do admit I seriously doubt the major statement. But if it really happens and if Dooms Day is really inflicted on Earth tomorrow, its sad to say that today will be the last day of our lives.

Just want to say that to the people I've known over the past 15 years of my life, its a wonderful pleasure getting the chance to meet you guys and to everyone around me, we've really had memorable and remarkable times together - great times that I really appreciate :)

Piano Exam - PASSED !

To be honest, I feel more relieved than unbridled joy when I was told that I've passed by piano theory exam. Despite sitting for the Grade 5 test, it was actually my very first time going for a theory exam - and boy, I gotta admit that I got pretty nervous!

The passing mark was 66. I scored an unsatisfying 68 out of a possible 100, a test that I passed by a whisker - and of course that made my father pissed, really pissed. As my problematic PMR examination is edging closer day by day, my dad has reduced my computer usage per day to a very limited 30 minutes - might be just enough time for me to check my mails or perhaps make 1 or 2 posts on the soccer blog I've been working with my cousin, Li Ming.

I'll be sitting for my next piano test next year - more than enough time for me to be prepared, I hope. And I'll certainly hope to avoid such a roller-coaster end next term as luck might not be on my side again.

Happy Teachers' Day!

It's Teachers' Day today! Well it's 1.45 am right now and I'm most certain that my parents will allow me to skip school tomorrow as my school will be celebrating Teachers' Day, which I believe will be 6 hours of extreme boredom.

The mid term exams are around the corner, and I'd rather study for the test then celebrating in school - because there isn't really much to celebrate. According to Wikipedia, World Teachers' Day is supposed to be celebrated across the world on October 5th, well maybe my school teachers are running out of patience to celebrate their joyful day or some other random reasons that they might have, I have absolutely no idea why they're celebrating it almost 5 months early (it's May 16th now).

Nevertheless, Happy Teachers' Day to my beloved teachers, I'm sure some of you have earned many of our respect (and I'm also sure some of you have been awful). Anyway, do have a blasting day :)

Pictures From Awesome MLTR Concert

MLTR @KUANTAN!

Well I just came back from the Michael Learns To Rock concert, and what I can currently say is that it was - Amazing! Truly AMAZING!

To be honest, I was actually attending my first concert in my life. But hell yeah it was well worth waiting for so long! It was such a remarkable feeling to watch my favourite childhood band electrify Kuantan, and believe me it was indeed a very very special feeling.

I got the chance to experience the electric atmosphere, and especially when they sang their famous songs, 25 minutes, Sleeping Child, That's Why You Go Away and Paint My Love - it was electrifying. I sang along, or should I say shouted along, and I'm actually having a sore-throat right now.

Long live, MLTR! :)

Exams have ended!

The past three days were, very very long. Yes, its fortunate that the monthly exam only lasted for three days, but the questions that came out were indeed freaking hard!

English was pretty easy, as usual. But I guess I've put too much emphasis studying my History subject, taking my eye off an underestimated Maths (which in my opinion, was the hardest subject this term). And yeah, I gotta to be honest that the Maths test was too hot for me to handle.

Nevertheless, the exams are finally over! I can have two precious weeks to sit back and relax - before the next annoying exam arrives again.

Friedal to Replace Reina?

If Liverpool current goalkeeper Pepe Reina happens to leave the club in the next transfer window, its reported that Liverpool boss Kenny Daglish might sign 39-year-old Brad Friedel as a decent replacement.

Liverpool are set to make a stunning bid for current Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Friedel to extend his admirable Barclays Premier League appearance record into a another season.

The 39-year-old American, whose contract will run out at Aston Villa at the end of the season, is currently on Kenny Dalglish’s list of options if Pepe Reina leaves the club in the next transfer window.

Pepe Reina has claimed that he’d rather move to other clubs than stay for another long season without Champions League football.

Manchester United and Arsenal are very keen to have his signature, which would leave Kenny Dalglish in a wild search for an experienced goalkeeper – and Brad Friedel is certainly one of the few that have topped his list.

Friedel – whose amazing career in England officially began at Liverpool – would fit the bill. He will turn 40 in May, but age is definitely not a factor for him as yesterday’s trip to Everton extended his record for consecutive top-flight appearances to an unprecedented 259 games.

Liverpool vs Manchester City Preview

Liverpool will host Manchester City at Anfield this week, looking to boost their hopes of getting a place in the top 4 at the end of the season.

Having both played 31 games, Liverpool are at an uncomfortable 6th position while Manchester City are flying high at 3rd with 7 nail-biting games left to play.

With both of their top right-backs (Glen Johnson and Martin Kelly) out for another month, centre-back Jamie Carragher will most likely be forced to play down an unfamiliar right flank. Sotirios Kyrgiakos and Martin Skrtel will both be starting as the two main men at the Liverpool defence due to the absence of Daniel Agger (who will be out for the rest of the season).

Skipper Steven Gerrard’s hopes of returning back into action this season has been demolished after the 30-year-old suffered a groin knack that will rule him out for the rest of the season.

Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll are both likely to start alongside each other as Liverpool’s two front men – supported by Raul Meireles. The both of them have previously been described by their Anfield captain as the “Most Fearsome Duo”.

Manchester City will be hoping to emerge victorious out of this match in order to keep their slim title hopes alive. They are currently 10 points adrift of current league leaders Manchester United.

Last week, Roberto Mancini’s men put up one of the greatest performance all season, thrashing Sunderland 5-0 at Eastlands.

With defender Vincent Kompany on red-hot form this season, Manchester City’s defence look strong – with the side keeping the highest number of clean sheets in the Barclays Premier League this season. But they will be without injured full-backs Jerome Boateng and Micah Richards.

The side’s top goal scorer, Carlos Tevez, is likely to start alongside Mario Balotelli – who has been making the headlines lately for all sorts of wrong reasons. Balotelli was recently fined two weeks’ wages after being sent off for a reckless challenge against Dynamo Kiev in the Europa League. In fact, he has also been docked another week’s wages for throwing darts at Manchester City youth-team players from a window at the training base – claiming that he did so because he was “bored”.

Liverpool have won 3 of they last 10 fixtures against Manchester City, losing one and drawing the other 6.

Breaking News : Japan Struck By Another Earthquake

Let us all take a second to pray for Japan as they were just struck by another earthquake, this time of a 7.5 magnitude.

Japan have been struck by yet another earthquake, this time of a magnitude of 7.5 on the richter scale, just 4 weeks after an absolutely devastating earthquake hit Japan.

This earthquake is apparently hitting Sendai and sincere condolences go to all the victims that have been affected,  and we know it would be the right thing to do if we show our bright side by offering the poor and innocent citizens some priceless donations. Please click here to donate some money to the Japanese red cross.

It’s not a waste of money, every dollar, or in fact every cent counts. Remember Earth Hour? The whole world united to absolutely good effect, enough power to power Pittsburgh or something, from what I heard. Anything would be everything to them.

Its April Fools'!

Guess what? Three months have already passed in the year 2011 in just a blink of an eye! Also meaning that my fearsome PMR examination is getting nearer day by day.

Its the first day of April 2011 today - April Fools' Day! Unfortunately the following date isn't a public holiday so I have to go to school as usual, but I did play a few foolish pranks on my friends :D

And yes, a few of my gullible friends were completely fooled when I told them that their pants were unzipped. Lame, and yet its fun!

Happy fooling, folks :)

School tomorrow - DAMN

I just realized that its already Sunday night, absolutely no doubt about the fact that time flew exceptionally fast throughout the weekend! And I'm also pretty disappointed that school will resume tomorrow as its a Monday, mundane Monday.

Its been an insane weekend for me, I was mainly busy rushing my school's history project like a mad guy. Had tonnes of work to do, and this just tells me that I shouldn't rush my work at the last minute as I'm just going to make a bigger mess out of myself (I have to pass the project up tomorrow after the teacher gave me 2 weeks to get it done) :P

Life is like a Living Hell

Well my grandparents have headed to Kuala Lumpur to visit my poor uncle, who had to undergo surgery due the presence of stones in his gall bladder which were causing excruciating pain.

And yeah, I just simply couldn't adapt to the lifestyle without my grandparents by my side. For you guys' information, I may be quite active in sports and so but I'm a complete FAIL in house chores. Due to my grandparents' absence at home, I was forced to wash everyone's dishes (I mean my every single one of my family members' dishes except my sister's), bath my little brother, sweep the house compound and most of all, I cannot taste my grandfather's TASTY dinner!

Thank God my grandparents are only away for one short week! Because every minute I will be ordered by my mother to do something (I'm alright witht that) but in some very, very unpleasant tone.

I've learned a fact today - Fernando Chow cannot live without his grandparents!

I'll be Rocking with Michael!

Michale Learns To Rock - a well known band across the globe, will be rocking in Pahang, Malaysia on 30th April. Guess what? My dad's just got me a priceless ticket and I'll definitely be rocking with them at the Kuantan Sukpa Stadium!

Well I just cannot wait to see them. And yes, I've been waiting for this moment for an awful long time, they've been one of my favourite band since I was a kid!

My favourite song from them will be That's Why You Go Away, you guys can check out this touching song from my music playlist below :)

Good day, folks!

PIANO EXAM IS OVER!

I'm now jumping high up for joy - because the piano exam is finally OVER!

Good news is that the exam wasn't as hard, and the bad news is that the exam wasn't a piece of cake as well. Yes, there were parts that were very easy, but there were also parts that I found them too hot to handle.

No guarantees that I will be passing this exam. But yes, I do feel that I have an edge in passing it - due to the fact that I happened to study 3 hours the day before the test (and even I was shocked, I don't really go so hard on piano exams).

Japan gets hit by massive earthquake and tsunami

The tsunami and earthquake is getting extremely serious. Having awfully hit Japan a few hours back, even the Google main page has alerted all a few countries at the Pacific as huge waves will be expected, caused by the 8.9 earthquake from Japan.

According to Sky News, the Japanese earthquake is 1000 times more powerful than the one experienced in Christchurch. But it was 125 metres off the coast compared to near a major city. Besides that, Japan's earthquake magnitude of a massive 8.9 has made it the 5th strongest in the world since 1900.

Let us all take a short moment to think about our loved ones and also pray for the innocent and poor Japanese victims that are suffering from this.

Meanwhile, I would like offer my sincere condolences to all the people in Japan that were affected by the terrible earthquake and the tsunami.

Do appreciate and cherish all that we have now :)

Time is flying

Seconds are ticking by, and I've just realized that my fearsome piano test is just three days away. The shadow of my piano test is definitely starting to lurk beyond me, while I can say that I have not put in my 100% (even though I think that its already too little too late).

I don't have to mention about passing the test with flying colours, because I will be grateful enough only if luck is on my side for me to just PASS it. Meanwhile, I'm just praying for a miracle to happen - because I know I will DESPERATELY need tonnes of luck to get the better of the questions.

I haven't been working hard. Therefore, if I happen to fail this exam, I deserve to be punished. Regardless of how severe the punishment will be, I will just take it as a lesson.

Big win for Liverpool

Liverpool kept their Champions League spot hope alive after a taming their arch rivals Manchester United 3-0, with a "lucky" hat-trick from Dutch star Dirk Kuyt.

It was Dirk Kuyt's first ever hat-trick for The Reds, and it was well worth waiting for so long as it came at the right time. But much of the credit will be going for Liverpool's number 7, Luis Suarez, after a sensational performance against Sir Alex Ferguson's men.

"Kenny Dalglish" was the main chant on the Liverpool supporter's lips as he once again got the better of his old rival Alex Ferguson. Kenny Dalglish's men made their home advantage count as they inflicted a sensational display in front of all the Liverpool fans.

The satisfying victory has lifted Liverpool up to sixth in the Barclays Premier League table, and they definitely are getting closer and closer towards the Champions League spot.

Liverpool vs Manchester United this weekend!

Guess what? The long wait for the clash between Liverpool and Manchester United has finally come to an end! The only two 18-time English Premier League champions will be going head-to-head in an explosive showdown in Anfield on Sunday.

As a devoted Liverpool fan, there is absolutely no doubt at all that I will be rooting for my favourite team to emerge victorious. But it will never be easy to win all 3 points against our bitter rivals as Kop boss Kenny Dalglish looks to renew his ugly rivalry with Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson tomorrow.

Can Liverpool bury Manchester United and give Arsenal a big chance to leap-frog all the way up to the top of the standings? Or will The Red Devils complete a double over Kenny Dalglish's men this season?

We shall wait and see.

1 exam down, 1 more to go.

And the February monthly test has come to an end, which means that my main priority for the time bring will be my piano theory test, which will be arriving in another 2 weeks.

I have about 3 to 4 extra piano lessons to attend each week, 2 hours per lesson, which is quite suffering for me. But oh well, No Pain No Gain is what they say, and hell yeah I seriously want to pass this exam very badly, so I believe I'll survive. After all, I'll be exam-free for 1 month after the piano theory test. Therefore, I guess I'll have a little bit of time to concentrate on the soccer blog I've been working with my cousin.

Good luck to me :)

Exams are coming =(

Ohh man the monthly examination will start next week, and they are just so close now, I can smell them already. More to add to my depression, I will be sitting for my piano theory exam just 2 weeks after my school examination ends!

And no wonder they call this the "Year Of Nightmare" or blablabla.. For me (or anyone that has more things to deal with others than school work), its like spending time in a living hell. This is like, one of the very first times I'll study till midnight.

Exams suck (big time)! Anyway I'll just gonna live with it, everyone knows that after my PMR exam, I'll go crazy, DAMN CRAZY ;)

Chap Goh Mei!

Its Chap Goh Mei today! Which means after today, the 2011 Chinese New Year will officially come to an end. For those who don't know, Chap Goh Mei is the final and fifteenth day of Chinese New Year, so after Chap Goh Mei, I'll pretty much have to wait for another long year till I get to start collecting Ang Pau's again - due to the fact that the number of Ang Pau's I've collected this year was a very big downhill compared to last year, and I'm totally unsatisfied !

So I would like to wish everyone a happy Chap Goh Mei and hope you guys really did enjoy the Lunar New Year period :)

Public Holiday!

Its a public holiday today! Which means - NO SCHOOL :D

In what a day which I though I would be spend it with full of delight, well I don't really think so now. I had to wake up early in the morning at 8a.m for my piano class (well that wasn't too bad after all) because my theory exams are coming in about 3 or 4 weeks. It lasted for approximately 2 hours - it started at 9 and ended at 11. After coming back I had a sumptuous meal of KFC, and since then I've been busy rushing at my school homework.

To be honest, sometimes I feel that the only way for my school teachers to express their anger is coming into class and give my classmates and I piles and piles of homework. Is there any pride or delight for teachers to see their students crushed? I mean, yeah, I would definitely accept it if they gave a necessary amount of work, but sometimes they just go over the limit, way over! UGH!

Ronaldo retires!

Former Brazilian footballer, and also one of the greatest footballer in history, Luiz Ronaldo, has officially announced his retirement yesterday, at the age of 34. The last club he as been playing for is Brazilian giants, Corinthians.
Ronaldo has had an amazing career, winning the World Cup with his national team, Brazil, in the year 2002 and also winning the well-known Balon D'Or award not once, but twice (1997 and 2002)! In fact, he has also won the prestigious UEFA Champions League before, with his former club Real Madrid.

Liverpool 1 - 1 Wigan

Liverpool ended their winning run with a disappointing 1-1 draw against Wigan on Saturday. Raul Meireles' 5th goal in 6 matches wasn't enough to give The Reds a victory over Roberto Martinez's men as Wigan defender Gohouri's first goal of the season was all it needed to inflict a painful end to Liverpool's winning streak.

Liverpool goalscorer, Raul Meireles, was taken off in the hour mark due to an unnamed injury, and I hope, I certainly hope, that it wasn't anything serious. Meanwhile, for much of the joy of the Liverpool fans, and me, Luis Suarez's first start for Liverpool was seemingly, quite impressive.

Despite Liverpool's new Uruguayan boy, Luis Suarez, failed to find the net, he did came close on several occasions, and even hit the bar twice (once from a free kick). Luis Suarez eventually won the Man of the Match award - on his first start for the club!

Addicted to Westlife!

Recently, I've been quite into some old songs like in the 90s or early 2000, and after listening to some songs from Westlife, I can say that they are a tremendous band! They are just simply - sensational, and no wonder my father loves them so much.

Well I'm currently addicted to these few songs - More Than Words, Obvious, Seasons In The Sun and Swear It Again. In fact, there is also one song of theirs, You Raise Me Up (I bet its pretty much familiar to most of you), which is also quite catchy.

Westlife - amazing, you guys rock! :D

Liverpool vs Wigan Preview

Liverpool look to extend their winning run to 5 consecutive matches.

This week’s tie against Wigan will be there to prove if Liverpool really are on a good run or form, especially after that victory over Chelsea last week. The Dalglish effect is definitely working and Raul Meireles is the main reason for the revolution. He’s been in absolutely amazing form recently and will definitely be looking to increase his goal tally for Liverpool this season.

But one player who won’t be looking to add to the goals is Jonjo Shelvey, who is set to miss the next 3 months due to injury. A bright youngster, but his absence won’t be too sorely felt as they have adequate replacements. Well, so will Suarez make his first start for Liverpool? That will also be a huge question.

The Uruguayan still is yet to play a full game of football for Liverpool and will be hoping to have a start to get the full feel of the fast and physical English game. But at least worry for the lack of goals vanished when he opened his account for Liverpool against Stoke in midweek last week. Many factors work FOR Luis Suarez playing this weekend, one being his ineligibility to play in the Europa League, as he has already played in the Europa League for Ajax, leaving him unavailable for selection.

Player to watch: Martin Kelly

Raul Meireles has already established himself as a firm player to watch so it’s a surprise good performance by Martin Kelly here against Wigan. Already ousted Glen Johnson out to the left back position, it looks as if he will continue his recent good run of form.

Drogba: It's Over!

Chelsea’s Ivorian striker, Didier Drogba, has admitted that Chelsea’s hope to win and retain the Barclays Premier League title is over after their disappointing 1-0 defeat at home to a rejuvenated Liverpool side.

The miserable and sad Drogba described their title hopes as “extinguished” and said that Liverpool’s current caretaker manager, Kenny Dalglish, and his men had “cut Chelsea’s legs away”.

Chelsea now remain a massive 10 points away from current league leaders Manchester United following their painful defeat on Sunday. Yet at least Didier Drogba still believes that he will be able to forge a goal-blasting partnership with Spain international Fernando Torres despite the 50mil newcomer’s dismal debut against his former team.

Super Tired! -.-

I just came back from school, and I'm nothing else but absolutely tired... Mainly due to the fact that I spent 9 boring and sleepy hours in the car yesterday - I can truly say that if you travel from Kuantan to Penang by car, get ready for some extreme boredom.

I slept at about 11pm yesterday and had to wake up early in the morning roughly around 6.15 today for school. I'm having a slight headache and cough at the moment, maybe I'm still not at my 100% yet after the 5 day trip to Penang.. Hope I'll be rocking again soon :)

Liverpool 1 - 0 Chelsea

Liverpool have done it again! Or should I say Kenny Dalglish? Since he arrived to manage the club, its quite obvious that this man has changed the whole complexion of the club.

Guess what? Raul Meireles has scored again! With his 5th goal in his last 6 games, Meireles has once again became the hero for Liverpool as his only goal in this tough encounter was all but enough for Liverpool to walk away from Stamford Bridge with all 3 satisfying points. In fact, Liverpool also went on the defeat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge without the presence of their new hitman, Luis Suarez!

Torres won't celebrate goal against Liverpool

Fernando Torres has said he will not celebrate if he really happens to score against his former club Liverpool on his Chelsea debut - as a mark of respect towards his former club.

Fernando Torres will be facing his former team-mates for the very first time this Sunday, in what should be a thrilling encounter between his current team and a rejuvenated Liverpool side.

In my opinion, I don't think that Torres will have anything to celebrate because he won't even score! Maybe Suarez can teach Torres how to play football for 10 minutes before the match ;)

Thursday, February 3, 2011

Suarez Debuts! And SCORES!

It was a debut delight for Liverpool as he scored the second goal in Liverpool's 2-0 win over Stoke City at Anfield. Luis Suarez came off the bench just past the hour and it only took the Uruguayan 17 minutes to turn on his scoring machine in the Premier League. Suarez's goal came when he dribbled past the helpless Stoke City goalkeeper, Begovic, and scrambled the ball past defender, Wilkinson, before it hit the bar and bounced into the net.

Gong Xi Fa Cai!

Just before I leave for Penang to celebrate Chinese New Year with my family tomorrow, I would like to wish everyone a Happy Chinese New Year and Gong Xi Fa Cai! May 2011, the year of Rabbit, be a wonderful and prosperous year for all of us! :)

Goodbye Torres!

I was ultimately sad when I saw the news today as Liverpool's hitman Fernando Torres has left the club to pursue his dream at Chelsea. He has left for a reported fee of $50 million. Due to his disloyalty towards the club, I'm officially an Anti-Torres.

At the same time, to much to the delight for the Liverpool fans, manager Kenny Dalglish has brought in striking duo Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez as replacements for Ryan Babel and Fernando Torres - which I think was pretty much worth it because Suarez has been better than Torres all the time, in my opinion :)

Let the Chinese New Year holidays begin!

Well the 8th TAS Squash Trophy has just ended, which means that my holiday officially starts! There has been some ups and downs for me in the tournament, but in the end I'll admit that I'm utterly disappointed with my awful performances as I finished 8th out of 32, winning only 2 matches from 5.

But I'll definitely not be letting that ruin my holidays because, hey.. its Chinese New Year! I'll be loaded with lots and lots of Ang Paus when school reopens.

Lastly, I just want to wish everyone and Happy Chinese New Year and enjoy your holidays!

No Suarez, Adam for Liverpool

It was an awful day for the Liverpool universe today as their bid to land Uruguay's top finished Luis Suarez and Blackpool ace Charlie Adam has both been disappointingly rejected. It is reported that Liverpool's tiny 4 million bid for Charlie Adam has infuriated and angered Blackpool chief, Karl Oyston. And Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam said that Liverpool is miles away from their 26 million price tag of Luis Suarez, which Liverpool only offered 12.7 million.

At the same time, Liverpool's Dutch winger, Ryan Babel looks all set to join German club Hoffenheim after being sidelined almost every week. Babel has fallen out of favour mainly due to the reason of the arrival of Maxi Rodriguez a couple of seasons ago will start packing his bags for Hoffenheim for 7 million. Meanwhile, I really really hope that Liverpool can use the funds earned from Ryan Babel's departure to increase the bid in signing Luis Suarez as we are quite obviously, short at attack.

Chong Wei wins it!

Malaysia's badminton sensation, Lee Chong Wei, has once again proved too hot for Indonesian shuttler, Taufik Hidayat, to handle. The reigning world number 1 defeated Taufik with a comfortable straight sets victory after crushing China's young gun, Chen Long, in the semi final.

Congratulations to Datuk Lee Chong Wei for once again making Malaysia proud!

John Morrison Beats Big Show!

Its just one of those best days in school of the year. Well as my huge friend, Soban, and I are crazy wrestling fans, we decided to make an entertaining match during our last 2 free periods. I was my favorite wrestler John Morrison and he was the Big Show. Well of course, we weren't fighting, just entertaining as we were laughing badly thorough the match. We did finishing maneuvers on each other and in the end, I managed to pull off a great win over Big Show.

And than there was a rematch, in the final action of the day, I did a flying dropkick on Big Show. Suddenly the ever-cheering classmates turned quiet, and then I realized - teacher has been watching us for quite a while! My friends were like laughing their asses of phew! Lucky the teacher was in a good mood - we didn't get into any trouble :)

What is the deal with this SNSD

Well, I do have a life and I actually listen to music (I do love music a lot), but to me, the SNSD(Girls Generation) are generally overhyped and are just these random girls who have high voices and wear shorts all the time. I mean, they even had plastic surgery, they’re really insecure as well. Well, you guys be the verdict, look up them on google.

In fact, their current leader, Taeyeon, is racist! Here is a link to support the statement: http://shenyuepop.com/2009/01/16/snsd-leader-is-a-racist/

Nonetheless, she did apologize.. but still, if she is such a 'superstar', being racist will definitely be a big downhill moment not only for her, but also the group's major downhill.

Freaking Addicted

Oh boy.. I'm just getting so freaking addicted to the song Better Than Revenge from Taylor Swift. I can't find any ways to stop myself from listening to it for less than 5 times a day at the moment. Well, people do get bored songs, but so far I'm getting nowhere near bored from it. Its the best song from Taylor Swift yet, and very very catchy indeed.. check it out guys :)

Loser Coming To Malaysia

Justin Bieber sucks, for me. So to all the "Bielebers", don't get pissed because people share different opinions :)

And after reading the newspaper today, I acknowledged the fact that the decision for Justin Bieber to launch a concert here at Malaysia has indeed, been finalized. Well I just hope that I can get the tickets for the wimp's show, not to cheer for him - of course.. but to give him a trip to Malaysia to remember, I'll BOO him like mad and scream JUSTIN BIEBER SUCKS out loud!

Internet is BACK!

After suffering a miserable month with no internet, finally the line is BACK! It was really a big challenge to survive 1 month without touching the computer (I just realized that my keyboard and mouse have actually turned dusty). Nevertheless, I got my life back! Yeah.. Fernando Chow is no longer a computer freak or game addict, I've "mastered" the humongous task of quitting of my favorite online game, GunZ, and I'm pretty sure that I won't be playing that game for the next 9 months - till my PMR exam officially comes to an end.

School Rocks!

School life is absolutely awesome! Despite the fact that I'm without my best friend, Mithiran, in class nowadays, but I'm really starting to fall in love with school - mainly due to the reason that my current teachers are like a hundred times better than the ones I've had in Form 2. So yeah..  the Year of Nightmare is going on quite swiftly day-by-day at the moment :D

Life in Form 3 - Not so cool...

I'm finding quite tough to adapt into Form 3 as school sessions are hectic so far. I've lost 3 of my close friends as they've unfortunately been shuffled to other classes. Well, I call it the Year of Nightmare - which I will be sitting for the major PMR exam in October. My class teachers are OK, but I'll have to admit that they are way better than the ones I've had last year. At the same time the internet cables are still unfixed, which means the only way for me to come online is to use my dad's internet broadband, and its incredibly Slow! So lots of studying definitely awaits me but at the meantime, I just can't wait to kick-start Chinese New Year, which I will be spending my time at Penang. And then AFTER Chinese New Year, I'll go all out on my studies XD
