About Me

Hello everyone! Thanks for stopping-by at my blog. Well firstly, my name is (Fernando) Chow Yao Wen and I do admit that I'm a cunning trickster as that tells the reason on why I haven't got into deep trouble in school - I do various evil tricks when I'm in one and my teachers ALWAYS fall for them.

I am a massive football fan, and I've been supporting my favourite club, Liverpool, for an awful long time.

I was born on 30th May 1996 in Malaysia. Since my very first day of watching the English Premier League, I have fallen in love with Liverpool and I have also assured that I will be a "Liverpoolean" for the rest of my life.

In my outside life, I am currently educating at SMK Sultan Abu Bakar (SABS for short), a well-known school located in Kuantan, Pahang. Basically, I am a mad-class clown and I truly enjoy bringing laughter to everyone around me as I believe that smiling is a universal welcome :)

Pictures From Awesome MLTR Concert

MLTR @KUANTAN!

Well I just came back from the Michael Learns To Rock concert, and what I can currently say is that it was - Amazing! Truly AMAZING!

To be honest, I was actually attending my first concert in my life. But hell yeah it was well worth waiting for so long! It was such a remarkable feeling to watch my favourite childhood band electrify Kuantan, and believe me it was indeed a very very special feeling.

I got the chance to experience the electric atmosphere, and especially when they sang their famous songs, 25 minutes, Sleeping Child, That's Why You Go Away and Paint My Love - it was electrifying. I sang along, or should I say shouted along, and I'm actually having a sore-throat right now.

Long live, MLTR! :)

Exams have ended!

The past three days were, very very long. Yes, its fortunate that the monthly exam only lasted for three days, but the questions that came out were indeed freaking hard!

English was pretty easy, as usual. But I guess I've put too much emphasis studying my History subject, taking my eye off an underestimated Maths (which in my opinion, was the hardest subject this term). And yeah, I gotta to be honest that the Maths test was too hot for me to handle.

Nevertheless, the exams are finally over! I can have two precious weeks to sit back and relax - before the next annoying exam arrives again.

Friedal to Replace Reina?

If Liverpool current goalkeeper Pepe Reina happens to leave the club in the next transfer window, its reported that Liverpool boss Kenny Daglish might sign 39-year-old Brad Friedel as a decent replacement.

Liverpool are set to make a stunning bid for current Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Friedel to extend his admirable Barclays Premier League appearance record into a another season.

The 39-year-old American, whose contract will run out at Aston Villa at the end of the season, is currently on Kenny Dalglish’s list of options if Pepe Reina leaves the club in the next transfer window.

Pepe Reina has claimed that he’d rather move to other clubs than stay for another long season without Champions League football.

Manchester United and Arsenal are very keen to have his signature, which would leave Kenny Dalglish in a wild search for an experienced goalkeeper – and Brad Friedel is certainly one of the few that have topped his list.

Friedel – whose amazing career in England officially began at Liverpool – would fit the bill. He will turn 40 in May, but age is definitely not a factor for him as yesterday’s trip to Everton extended his record for consecutive top-flight appearances to an unprecedented 259 games.

Liverpool vs Manchester City Preview

Liverpool will host Manchester City at Anfield this week, looking to boost their hopes of getting a place in the top 4 at the end of the season.

Having both played 31 games, Liverpool are at an uncomfortable 6th position while Manchester City are flying high at 3rd with 7 nail-biting games left to play.

With both of their top right-backs (Glen Johnson and Martin Kelly) out for another month, centre-back Jamie Carragher will most likely be forced to play down an unfamiliar right flank. Sotirios Kyrgiakos and Martin Skrtel will both be starting as the two main men at the Liverpool defence due to the absence of Daniel Agger (who will be out for the rest of the season).

Skipper Steven Gerrard’s hopes of returning back into action this season has been demolished after the 30-year-old suffered a groin knack that will rule him out for the rest of the season.

Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll are both likely to start alongside each other as Liverpool’s two front men – supported by Raul Meireles. The both of them have previously been described by their Anfield captain as the “Most Fearsome Duo”.

Manchester City will be hoping to emerge victorious out of this match in order to keep their slim title hopes alive. They are currently 10 points adrift of current league leaders Manchester United.

Last week, Roberto Mancini’s men put up one of the greatest performance all season, thrashing Sunderland 5-0 at Eastlands.

With defender Vincent Kompany on red-hot form this season, Manchester City’s defence look strong – with the side keeping the highest number of clean sheets in the Barclays Premier League this season. But they will be without injured full-backs Jerome Boateng and Micah Richards.

The side’s top goal scorer, Carlos Tevez, is likely to start alongside Mario Balotelli – who has been making the headlines lately for all sorts of wrong reasons. Balotelli was recently fined two weeks’ wages after being sent off for a reckless challenge against Dynamo Kiev in the Europa League. In fact, he has also been docked another week’s wages for throwing darts at Manchester City youth-team players from a window at the training base – claiming that he did so because he was “bored”.

Liverpool have won 3 of they last 10 fixtures against Manchester City, losing one and drawing the other 6.

Breaking News : Japan Struck By Another Earthquake

Let us all take a second to pray for Japan as they were just struck by another earthquake, this time of a 7.5 magnitude.

Japan have been struck by yet another earthquake, this time of a magnitude of 7.5 on the richter scale, just 4 weeks after an absolutely devastating earthquake hit Japan.

This earthquake is apparently hitting Sendai and sincere condolences go to all the victims that have been affected,  and we know it would be the right thing to do if we show our bright side by offering the poor and innocent citizens some priceless donations. Please click here to donate some money to the Japanese red cross.

It’s not a waste of money, every dollar, or in fact every cent counts. Remember Earth Hour? The whole world united to absolutely good effect, enough power to power Pittsburgh or something, from what I heard. Anything would be everything to them.
